I got out of bed yesterday morning, and to my surprise and excitement, it was snowing! This was an epic surprise for me! A New Zealand boy growing up in a place where the closest thing to snow is a hail storm and now having snow all around me, was an epic and grand feeling, not in agreement with Håvard who obviously dislikes the snow, it makes for an interesting debate. I don't think this blog will be containing such warm feelings toward snow in two months time, but right now I am giddy as a flightless duck, bad example bu it is the first thing that came to my head, I have limited time.
One of the many trials and tribulations that I have come across that will happen one more time this year would have to be the Potliti test, an epic and trialing test! And with the helpful and encouraging words of Eirik Grøneng and Ragnar Hansen I made a good ammount of rounds totaling the number of thirty two! A six grade. I am stoked with that!
As I look out over the snow covered roofs and eat a brunost and blue berry jam sandwih I take the time to think of home and how my family are doing, I don't miss home because I know it will all be there when I get back, and my epic Norwegian adventure has only limited time so I am savouring the time I have here! It truely is an epic experience.
I loved the time I spent in Måløy about a week ago, It was a great and refreshing experience and a great way to meet the rest of the family. We went crab fishing and were very successful by my standards with a catch of fifty or so crabs and one lobster that was delicious! We also had a fun and rather interesting walk along the beach with the dogs. It was funny watching Stitch try on his moves with Paul Ottars dog Bonita. The size difference in the dogs was down right hilarious!
To the dissapointment of Paul Ottar and I there was no seagull blood spilt on the beach that day, we were hoping that Bonita, being a rather viciouse little dog would maybe try to kill a seagull. But with Stitches continuous attempts at mounting her, I think she had enough on her mind.
Darn. I think the snow is giving way to rain and I have been warned by friends that this will create slush and this is not good for the shoes, I guess I will be wearing the good old boots tomorrow. Oh well we will see.
Thats it I think. I am hungry.
From Miles with love!
